Excellent producer of Valpolicella Classico wines, the Scriani winery is owned by the Cottini family and is based in Fumane. The vineyards extend into the surrounding hills over approximately 28 hectares. In the cellar, the owner Stefano Cottini works and experiments with barrels of different sizes and types of wood to make the most of each grape variety based on the specific characteristics of each vintage.

Lugana DOC Scriani is obtained exclusively from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes selected in the vineyards of San Martino della Battaglia, in the province of Brescia. The vinification takes place in steel, and the finished wine is aged for approximately five years on the fine lees, plus a further 2 months in steel vats.

The wine shows a brilliant straw yellow color with golden reflections. Its aromatic profile is fresh and fragrant with notes of apple, citrus, and white peach. On the palate, it is round and linear with broad flavors and a good body. The finish is long and recalls fruity notes. It is ready to drink immediately but can remain in the cellar for a few years. Perfect as an aperitif or with lake fish, mac & cheese, or poultry.
