Established in 2001 in the heart of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Roth Estate is a California family-owned winery that produces Bordeaux varietal wines from Sonoma County's finest appellations. Their flagship wine is Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the rolling hills of the Alexander Valley, where the vines benefit from low-vigor volcanic soils and a favorable microclimate with hot days and cool nights that guarantee the production of fruity and well-balanced wines.
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are carefully selected and hand-picked from the best vineyards in the Alexander Valley. After vinification, the finished wine is aged for 18 months in a mix of French, American and Hungarian oak.
The wine shows a dark red color and a powerful and complex aromatic profile with notes of dark fruit, black cherries, forest berries, cassis, coffee, and cocoa hints. On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a bold, masculine character. It is rich and full-bodied with an excellent concentration of dark fruit and firm tannins. It is a powerful but well-balanced wine. The finish is long and persistent with delicate mineral notes. It’s the perfect wine for stewed or grilled beef and meat casseroles.
