Pale gold in colour, the nose of this Garganega promises ripe apple, peach and apricot with a slight vanilla hint. The palate displays a rich, complex wine with great balance and acidity. Flavours of peach, apricot and an almond note fills the mouth. The finish is long with a mineral end.

Great to drink on its own or match with seafood, crab, chicken, pasta and salad.

Graziano Pra is a name synonymous with some of the best wines in Italy – and this is no exception! The grapes are selected from individual plots – each batch giving a slightly different wine due to the differences in terroir. Vinification happens in stainless steel and matured on lees for between 6 and 8 months.

Graziano Pra spent a long time looking for the very best vineyard site. He eventually settled on a site that was high up the marl walls of the Valle di Mezzane, near Verona. It gave the perfect combination of soil, sun and cooling breezes associated with the Monti Lessinin Hills and the 500m elevation. The yields are very low but the quality is very high resulting in wines with more character, body and depth. The organic views of the winery mean that there is minimal intervention at any stage of the winemaking process. This helps to increase the quality of the wine whilst minimising the impact on the environment.
