Once in the winery the fruit is expertly vinified and then transferred to American oak hogsheads for 12 months which adds attractive notes of vanilla and spice to the intense fruit flavours. On the nose, Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2020 offers aromas of black cherry, plum, and dark chocolate, with hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of blackberry, cassis, and dark chocolate, complemented by a long, smooth finish.
