Stephen and Jeany Cronk left behind their corporate London lives a decade ago to pursue their dream of making wine in the southern French region of Provence which is famed for its delicate rosé wines. With help from Master of Wine Angela Muir MW, the family released their first vintage in 2011 and quickly gained a reputation for producing deliciously light and fragrant rosés which are today sold all over the world.

Their Mirabeau Pure was first made in 2014 and aims to capture “Provence in a glass”, reminding the drinker of long summer days on the Côte d’Azur no matter where in the world you happen to be. The wine is crafted from a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah grown on clay and limestone soils with the grapes harvested at night to preserve the freshness and aromatics.

The gorgeous ballet slipper hue is complimented by delicate hints of citrus, crushed red berries, and subtle floral notes. The first sip reveals a zingy freshness with plenty of mouthwatering acidity, summer berry flavours and a very pure, clean finish. This style of rosé is ideal for serving as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a huge range of dishes including fish, chicken salads, seafood and sushi.
