Rosé Wine
Mirabeau Classic Provence Rose 2021
Cellar for up to 3 years. Serve chilled.
This delicate Provencal rosé has a gorgeous dusty pink hue and enticing notes of ripe strawberries, raspberries and a touch of fresh mint. Take a sip and you’ll immediately feel refreshed thanks to the bright acidity, pure red berry notes, and clean finish. The light body and freshness makes this ideal to serve as an aperitif on a hot summer’s day or combined with a leafy salad, a generous platter of seafood, or a pan-fried salmon steak.
Rosé wines have been made in the southern French region of Provence since around 600 BC, although the Mirabeau only started making their first wines in 2010. The winery is owned by the Cronk family who relocated from London to France with a dream of leaving behind the corporate world. They soon collaborated with Master of Wine Angela Muir who helped them create their very first vintage.
In a very short time Mirabeau has received global recognition and the wines are now sold in 50 different countries around the world. The winery has won a slew of accolades including Top 3 Provence Rosé for their Mirabeau Classic and regular gold medals at the IWC and Global Rosé Masters.
