This is a bold and vivid Cabernet Sauvignon wine, sprung from the young region of Gualtallary, in Uco Valley, Argentina. It boasts a bouquet of plum, blackcurrant, violet and dried herbs. It is deeply aromatic, hinting at the powerful palate to follow. The fruits were sourced from estate-owned vineyards that grow on sandy soils, rich in calcium carbonate.

Finca Ambrosia started life as a grower estate, selling grapes to famous Argentinian producers like Trapiche and Zorzal. It was founded in 2002 after a group of wine-loving friends discovered the special terroir of Gualtallary, which was just starting to capture the interest of wine producers. However, in 2011, the winery employed a local wine-maker to create a vintage of their own - it was met with critical acclaim, and the face of Finca Ambrosia was forever changed.

On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a bold, bright character, with dark fruits, liquorice, leather, chocolate, and brooding spice flavours. The Viña Unica line represents Finca Ambrosia’s exploration into identity and the harmonious use of oak. The winery’s intent is evident on the palate, which is outlined by an elegant oaky structure.
