The Feudi Salentini winery is located in the town of Leporano, an area of particular value in Salento. Here the vineyards are surrounded by woods and face the sea. The combination of these elements, together with the rich soils, transforms the grapes into fantastic wines. The Varvaglione family manages to combine the most ancient traditions with modern technologies, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, to produce high-quality wines.

The company makes a varied range of wines, which includes the typical varieties of the area such as the whites Malvasia and Verdeca, and the reds Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Salice Salentino, and has also created the line "125" made up of low-alcohol wines.

Allegretto Old Vines Primitivo di Manduria is a full-bodied wine with a deep color. The nose reveals intense fruity aromas of black cherry, plum, and blackcurrant, but the aromatic profile is made even more complex by notes of tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon, dark chocolate, oak, leather, and coffee beans. The body is full and the tannins are soft. The acidity is moderate and the finish is persistent and recalls notes of chocolate. It is a very balanced wine that goes beautifully with roast meats and rich first courses with meat sauces.
