Domaine Tollot-Beaut Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru 2018

Located in Chorey-les-Beaune, Domaine Tollot-Beaut is a Burgundy winery managed by Nathalie Tollot, the fifth generation of the family and granddaughter of the founders Alexandre Tollot and Aurélie Beaut. The Domaine covers 24 hectares of vineyards located in the communes of Beaune, Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les- Beaune and Aloxe-Corton, with some beautiful parcels in the Grand cru of Corton-Charlemagne and Corton. The characteristic bottle used by the Tollot family refers to a design widely used in Burgundy in the early 1900s and is a tribute to regional wine traditions.

The Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru is produced with Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the steep slopes of the estate's vineyard located in the Grand Cru Corton-Bressandes. The finished wine is aged in 50% new oak.

The wine has a bright crimson color and aromas of ripe red fruits (strawberry, plum, and cherry) with floral notes and spicy touches. On the palate, it is a muscular wine with a strong character, elegant tannins, and a succulent structure. It is fresh and lively and has a long and refined finish with slightly spicy notes. It can age for a couple of decades or can be enjoyed now with roast goose or pheasant.
