Located in Meursault, in the heart of Burgundy’s renowned Côte de Beaune area, Domaine Patrick Javillier is a family-run winery with approximately 11 hectares of vineyards. Patrick comes from a family of local winegrowers and, after studying oenology, took over the family legacy. Since 2008, his daughter, Marion, has joined him in the business. The estate's wines are renowned for their classic, elegant style and excellent aging potential.

The Chardonnay grapes destined for the Meursault Clos du Cromin are sourced from a plot located on the Volnay slope. Here, the vines benefit from south- and south-easterly exposure and root in deep, fairly rich, clay-based soils.

In the glass, the wine reveals an elegant, expressive aromatic profile featuring fruity notes of apple and pear that alternate with hints of ripe citrus, set against a backdrop of dried fruit and honey. On the palate, it is round and balanced, offering refreshing acidity and elegant fruit concentration. The finish is long and persistent. This is a food-friendly wine; it pairs well with rabbit rillettes, roast chicken, grilled shellfish, and scallop risotto.
