The Caparsa winery is located in Radda in Chianti, in one of the most beautiful wine-growing areas in the province of Siena and the Tuscany region, and was purchased in 1965 by Reginaldo Cianferoni, professor of Economics and Agricultural Policy. Paolo Cianferoni, with his partner Gianna and their five children, now manages the company which is certified organic and produces white, red, rosé, and sweet wines from native grapes and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and also has a small accommodation facility.

Caparsino Riserva is one of the most important wines produced by the Caparsa company, made with Sangiovese grapes and aged in large barrels for two years.

The wine has a clean and fresh aromatic profile with sweet fruity aromas, mixed with aromatic herbs and flowers. In the mouth, it shows all the sweetness of ripe fruit thanks to a harvest made at the right time, when the grapes are fully ripe. The wine, however, still stands out for its marked acidity and soft tannins. It is a juicy and captivating wine, which leaves a final sensation of freshness and balsamic flavor in the mouth. Try it with grilled beef or roast lamb with aromatic herbs.
