Bio wine
100% Fiano Minutolo produced organically on the Cannito family estate. Only 4000 bottles of “Drúmon” Fiano are crafted each year due to the natural propensity of the Fiano vines to produce small clusters that yield very little juice at pressing.
You will find this Fiano unusually organoleptic, starting with the pale straw yellow hues dancing with bright reflections. If you get too close and you will be in for one intense olfactory experience marked with a deliciously bold floral and citrusy nose brimming with intense orange blossom and juicy Meyer lemon.
Upon the first sip, citrus continues to dominate with nuances of peach, pear and quince making a refreshing appearance in this remarkably bitter and dry white wine. Moderate alcohol content (12%) with pleasant acidity and a long, persistent finish with a surprisingly pleasing aftertaste.
Enjoy this Fiano with white meat dishes – roasted or grilled, shellfish, citrus fruits, pasta with white sauce and soft, mild cheeses. Best served chilled between 8°C – 12°C.
The Cannito family has been producing Organic wines since 1994 via “biological agriculture.” The grape clusters are cut by hand and selected at the table for pressing. CannitoVini Biologici was founded by Francesco Cannito and consists of 50 hectares of unspoiled protected territory that preserves the flora and fauna on the estate. The Cannito family farm also organically produces olive oil, olives, almonds and cherries in addition to the fruits from the vineyards. “Drúmon” is Greek for oak tree, which is the symbol of the territory the Cannito farm calls home.
