Callejón del Crimen is part of the large family-owned Vinos de la Luz group, which owns wineries in different parts of the world, including Italy. The company which has a well-equipped cellar, with concrete and stainless steel tanks, and a modern air-conditioned barrel room to avoid sudden temperature variations, is located at the foot of the Tupungato Hill, in the province of Mendoza, one of the most famous Argentinian regions for wine production. Depending on the wines, French or Slavonian oak barrels are used for the aging of the wines.

The grapes come from vineyards located in Vista Flores at about 1150 meters above sea level, in microclimatic conditions that are sometimes extreme, but particularly favorable for the cultivation of vines. The harvest is manual. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and the finished wine is then aged for twelve months in French oak barriques.

The Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva by Callejon del Crimen has an intense ruby red color. The nose reveals a bouquet of intense and complex aromas of ripe red fruit, balsamic notes of mint, and hints of tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, it is elegant and powerful with a good body and firm and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and intense with mineral hints. It is ideal with red meats and aged cheeses.
