Founded by noted writer and wine merchant Steven Spurrier and his wife Arabella, Bride Valley Estate is located in South West England in the up-and-coming wine region of Dorset. Here the vines enjoy a soil practically identical to that of the Montagne de Reims area, in Champagne, and the position of the vineyards, on inclined slopes facing south, guarantees particularly favorable climatic conditions for the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier vines. For all winemaking, processes the estate sends its grapes to the Furleigh Estate. The first vintage released on the market was in 2011.

Considered the most representative wine of the estate, the Blanc de Blancs Brut Bride Valley is an elegant sparkling wine produced solely from Chardonnay grapes and aged on its lees for 24 months.

The wine has a bright pale lemon color, enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile is elegant, with notes of citrus, stone fruit, and white flowers, toasted hints, and delicate aromas of honey and brioche. On the palate, it is fresh and lively with a citrus acidity and a delicious crispiness reminiscent of Granny Smith apples. It is rich and creamy with a long and lively finish. It goes well with all types of seafood, even raw, and it is perfect with white fish and rich salads.
