Bodegas Bianchi Particular Malbec 2019
Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour.
Founded in 1928 by Don Valentín Bianchi in San Rafael and then expanded by his son Enzo during the 20th century, Bodegas Bianchi is one of the most prestigious wineries in the Mendoza wine region. The company vineyards extend over approximately 400 hectares located mainly in the regions of San Rafael and the Uco Valley.
The 100% Malbec grapes are harvested by hand from the San Rafael vineyards in the Mendoza wine region. 50% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak (20% of 1st passage and 80% of 2nd and 3rd).
Bianchi Particular Malbec is a wine with an intense and deep red color with light shades tending towards purple. Its aromatic profile is complex with aromas of ripe dark fruit (especially black cherry, blackberry and plum) and sweet spices. There are notes reminiscent of chocolate and smoke, deriving from the aging in wood. On the palate, the wine is fresh and voluminous. Like all great Malbecs, it shows a well-structured body and a powerful yet smooth character. It is an elegant wine with velvety tannins and well-balanced acidity. The finish is long and recalls the aromas perceived on the nose. Try it with grilled meat.
