Founded in 2001 in Patagonia, and more precisely in the Rio Negro region, by Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano with the collaboration of the Danish oenologist Hans Vinding-Diers, Bodega Noemia produces Argentine wines of the highest quality. Their most representative wine is Malbec, produced with grapes from a vineyard planted in 1932.
A Lisa wine is exclusively made with Malbec grapes from the old vineyards of the Rio Negro Valley, southern Argentina. The harvest takes place in the morning hours to preserve the health and freshness of the grapes. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts and lasts for about 2 weeks. The wine is then aged for approximately 10 months (40% in old French oak barrels and 60% in stainless steel tanks).
This delicious and lively Malbec has an intense color with purple tones and exuberant aromas of red fruits (plums, mulberries, and cherries). On the palate, it is dynamic and juicy with a good structure and soft tannins. The acidity is well balanced and the finish is long and refreshing. It is a very versatile wine in food pairings: it is excellent with stew, grilled meat, and ossobuco.
