Located in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, Bisol1542 is a historic winery in the Veneto region with a long family tradition. The production of wine was started around 1875 by Eliseo Bisol and has continued through the centuries until today. The company, now led by Gianluca Bisol, owns 20 plots distributed in various areas of the appellation, among the steep hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano.

The Cartizze area is the most suitable and prestigious for the production of Prosecco. Here the vineyards, located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, benefit from a rocky soil deep down and friable on the surface which guarantees wines with a marked acidity and mineral character. The favorable sun exposure and the constant protection from the cold currents guarantee the perfect microclimate for the production of quality grapes.

Bisol Cartizze Valdobbiadene Superiore Dry has a straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile is very elegant with notes of peach and pear, white flowers and rennet apple, and a pleasant mineral scent. On the palate the acidity is lively. The wine is very balanced and reveals the same aromas perceived on the nose. The finish is long and recalls savory notes. It is perfect with shrimp tempura, shellfish dishes, and seafood pasta.
