Founded by the German-born Bemberg family, Bemberg Estate is an Argentine winery that produces wines that are extremely representative of the country's various terroirs. Acclaimed winemaker Daniel Pi carries on a philosophy based on the expression of micro terroirs with the selection of grapes from single plots, special attention to manual work in the vineyard and fermentations with natural yeasts.

The grapes for this Chardonnay are harvested by hand in Parcela No.1 of the Finca El Tomillo vineyard, located at a high altitude in the Gualtallary area, on shallow limestone soils. Fermentation takes place in new French oak with indigenous yeasts and the wine is then left to mature on the lees for 10 months.

The Chardonnay Bemberg La Linterna Parcela No. 1 Finca El Tomillo is an intriguing and vibrant wine with intense aromas of stone fruit and citrus, floral and chalky hints, and smoky touches. On the palate, it is dense and energetic, with very well-integrated woody notes and a lively acidity that balances the creamy texture. The finish is long and persistent and recalls mineral notes. Perfect with grilled tuna and prawns, scallop risotto or crab.
