Ausàs Interpretación is the Ribera del Duero wine of Ausàs Bodegas y Viñedos, owned by Xavier Ausàs, former technical director and oenologist at Vega Sicilia and consultant, among others, for Ànima Negra and Pago de Carraovejas. After 25 years of working for international wineries, he decided to use his skills and his knowledge of the different sub-areas of the Ribera del Duero for this new project working with friends and trusted winegrowers. The winegrower-land combination is a fundamental element of this wine, and each parcel brings a different style and character to create a wine that strongly expresses all the potential of the region.

The Tinta Fino grapes come from some of the best vineyards of the D.O. Rivera del Duero. The vinification is carried out separately and at different temperatures to respect the contribution of each of the parcels. The finished wine is then aged for 15 months in oak barrels.

Ausas Interpretacion has a cherry red color and an incredible aromatic purity, with toasted notes, aromas of black berried fruits, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is round and firm, fresh and elegant. The tannins are silky and the acidity is very balanced. The finish is long and recalls fruity notes. Perfect with sausages or Iberian ham.
