How long can Amarone wine be aged?

Due to its powerful body and tannins and acidity, Amarone has long ageing potential and can develop well in the bottle. However, some styles are pleasant at the time of release, but Amarone simply does better with time, with flavors softening and blending over time and new levels of complexity develop. Correct storage conditions, which include stable temperatures and humidity levels, are extremely important for the maximal aging potential.
