Are white blends sweet or dry?

White blend covers a range of the degree of sweetness from bone-dry to the lusciously sweet. Grape varieties from different regions are mixed together, each adding a special flavor and feature. Though some blends have a very clean acidity and less of residual sugar, others can undergo procedures such as late harvest or botrytization that change their profile to sweet. At the end of the day, the sweetness of a white blend is dictated by the choice of grapes and the intention of the winemaker.
