Located in Ostra Venere, in the province of Ancona, Villa Bucci is one of the most prestigious wineries in Italy and the most important on the Adriatic coast. The company, which owns approximately 30 hectares of organically grown vineyards, cultivates not only Verdicchio but also Sangiovese and Montepulciano. In this area, the vineyards can benefit from optimal exposures and clayey soils with a high limestone content.

Villa Bucci Verdicchio Riserva is a very famous wine, born in 1983, and which has been enjoying enormous success and awards at an international level for years now. The vinification takes place in steel and the finished wine then rests for a year and a half in large Slavonian oak barrels.

It is a deep and complex wine, elegant and expressive. In the glass it reveals an intense color with straw yellow tones with greenish reflections. Its aromatic profile is broad and complex with notes of apple and almond, honey and hazelnuts, aromatic herbs, and flint. On the palate, it is round and harmonious, dry and concentrated. The finish is long and recalls delicately spicy hints. It is a very versatile wine in pairings: it works well with lobster, roasted white meat, and medium-aged cheeses.
