Located in Tuscany's Bolgheri DOC wine region, Tenuta Fratini spans about 1,100 hectares, 20 of which are planted with vines, dedicated to producing red wines with a distinctive, refined character.

This elegant Tuscan red blends Cabernet Franc with Merlot and small additions of Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the municipality of Castagneto Carducci (specifically the Donoratico area) in the province of Livorno. The vines draw nutrients from soil composed of calcareous sedimentary rock, marble, and argillite, alongside sandstone and siliceous rock. Following manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts, and the finished wine ages for one year in used barriques. This wine pays homage to the area's millennia-old winemaking traditions; its Etruscan-derived name underscores a style that is both complex and elegant.

In the glass, Clinio reveals an intense color with deep red hues and violet reflections. Its aromatic profile is expressive and complex, boasting a distinctly Mediterranean character that alternates notes of sour cherry, wild berries, and herbs with hints of licorice and violet. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, featuring a well-defined tannic structure and a streak of refreshing acidity. It is harmonious and juicy, with a long, concentrated, and warm finish.
