Giorgi Solomnishvili is a winemaker of great character and personality, possessing a profound knowledge of his land, its winemaking traditions, and local grape varieties, which he passionately conveys through his excellent wines. His small, family-run winery owns approximately 0.2 hectares of vineyards in Kakheti, Georgia's main wine-growing region. Here, Giorgi personally tends his vines, meticulously and by hand. His wines, available in limited quantities, reflect the renaissance of Georgian wine.

This excellent Georgian amber wine is produced with grapes of the indigenous Georgian variety Rkatsiteli sourced from the Kakheti region, where this grape expresses itself best, creating wines of intense character. Vinification follows the traditional Georgian method, with maceration on the skins in Qvevri, clay vessels.

In the glass, the wine reveals a rich, brilliant amber color and a broad, intriguing aromatic profile with notes of dried apricot, quince, and spices interspersed with floral hints. On the palate, it is elegant and silky, round and fragrant, with the velvety, supple texture typical of amber wines and a delicate, refreshing acidity. The finish is long. Try it with onion soup, Georgian recipes like Satsivi chicken, and aged cheeses.
