Lovers of smooth and intense reds have to try this delicious cuvee from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. The story of the See Ya Later Ranch begins back in 1920 when Major Hugh Fraser bought land high above the Okanagan Valley and planted the first vines here. According to local legend, Fraser would sign off his letters with the phrase “See Ya Later” which was adopted as the name of the estate. Today the winery is renowned for being one of the highest vineyards in the Valley with its sunny sloping vineyards set next to the dramatic rocky peak of Hawthorne Mountain.
Crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon with a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, this robust red is made with fruit from Hawthorn Valley where conditions are significantly cooler than down in Okanagan Valley itself. The estate harvests the grapes when they reach optimum ripeness in October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the young wine is then matured in oak barrels for 14 months.
Bursting with cassis, black cherry and subtle cigar box spice, this punchy red offers a harmonious and balanced flavour profile with rich fruit flavours and firm tannins complemented by gentle freshness and a very long finish. The poise and elegance along with the bold flavours make it a great match for rich beef and game dishes and hearty vegetarian cuisine.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
