Elvi is a renowned Spanish winery that produces high-quality kosher wines from various Spanish appellations, including Cava, La Mancha, and Montsant. In the vineyard, the company favors a traditional approach that fully respects the terroir and biodiversity, while in the cellar, it adheres to the precepts of Kashrut laws.

Clos Mesorah is a red wine made from a blend of Carinena, Garnacha, and Syrah from the Montsant DOC, in the Tarragona region. The Carinena grapes are sourced from 80-year-old vineyards, while the Garnacha grapes come from vines between 18 and 65 years old. Finally, the Syrah vines are 18 years old. After manual harvesting, each variety is vinified separately at a controlled temperature. The finished wine then ages in French oak for approximately 14 months.

In the glass, the wine reveals an intense ruby ​​red color with bright garnet highlights. On the nose, the wine releases a broad bouquet with fruity notes of black cherry, currant, ripe raspberry, and plum, interspersed with spicy and floral hints and some earthy and herbaceous touches that add complexity. On the palate, it has a medium-full body and a pronounced, refreshing acidity. It is concentrated, juicy, energetic, and balanced with ripe tannins and a long, rich finish. Try it with grilled red meat, pulled pork, or lasagna Bolognese.
