Just 1000 cases of this extremely limited edition single vineyard Californian Pinot Noir are produced each year and high demand amongst collectors across the world means the winery quickly sells out. The wine recently featured in the movie Somm 3 where some of the world’s top sommeliers and wine critics rate it as being the equal of two top quality Burgundies.

The Bloom’s Field Pinot Noir begins life in a south-facing vineyard which is cooled by breezes and fogs from the nearby Pacific Ocean, helping to preserve freshness and delicate aromatics in the wine. The winery follows biodynamic agricultural practices to preserve the natural balance in the vineyard and to work in harmony with Mother Earth. Following the harvest the grapes are whole-bunch fermented to add leafy and savoury notes to the wine before the young wine is aged in new barrels for 16 months. The result is a vibrant, red-fruited wine with ample natural acidity and the elegance and poise of a top Burgundy.

Domaine de la Cote is a collection of 6 stunning vineyards in the Santa Rita hills. The estate is currently at the forefront of Californian Pinot Noir thanks to a commitment to terroir-driven winemaking and Burgundian techniques. The estate was purchased in 2013 by Raj Parr and Sashi Moorman who planted the vineyards with California heritage selections and pursue a philosophy of “add nothing; take nothing away”.
