The Marlborough Wine Region is hands-down the epicenter of wine production in New Zealand. The light-red perfumed Dog Point Pinot Noir originates from the wineries in this region. It expresses the invaluable quality of the Pinot Noir grapes and the passion of the winemakers. James and Wendy Healy's partnership with Ivan and Margaret Sutherland has greatly influenced the quality and standards of wine produced.
Its aroma entails vibrant notes of red rose, lavender, dry herbal undertones, blueberry, and brown cinnamon alongside deep creaminess. The palatial backbone is an enticing taste of soft tannins coupled with luscious fruits and a long earthy finish. Delicate acidity carries the rich, intense flavors across the tongue, contributing to a complex well-balanced structure. This wine is a typical Marlborough Pinot Noir with its sophistication.
Before manual sorting, the Pinot Noir grapes are handpicked and cooled for the entire night. Part of the grapes is harvested full-stem, while three-quarters of them are destemmed in the process. With the help of yeast, the grapes undergo fermentation for 21 days, after which they are pressed and stored in French oak barrels, where they age for close to one and a half years. Bottling takes place afterward without any clarification. Ideal when aerated for 2 to 3 hours. Delicious when served alongside meat delicacies and oily fish.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
