After successfully converting their English farm to organic agriculture in the 1970s, the Bamford family were looking for a new home in Provence when they fell in love with Chateau Leoube. They soon set about converting the property’s 65 hectares of vineyards and olive groves to organic agriculture. In 2000 Romain Ott, their neighbour’s son, joined the project as their winemaker and has helped put the winery on the map for delicious and affordable Provencal rosés.

Chateau Leoube is especially known for producing crisp and elegant wines which are now sold in over 30 countries around the world. Their vineyards sit close to the coast with regular cooling breezes which help moderate the temperature during the hot summers and lock in plenty of freshness and aromatics.

Love by Leoube is a new cuvee which reminds of the relaxed sun-kissed days of summer on the Provencal coast with luscious white peach, apricot, citrus and pomegranate notes mingling with hints of sea salt, dried herbs, and white flowers. The vibrant character and bright fruit makes this a fantastic aperitif to serve by the pool or on a terrace overlooking the sea. Try pairing it with fresh seafood, grilled fish, sushi, Asian salads, or a selection of French cheeses.
