Vincent Girardin

History
The Domaine Vincent Girardin is located in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune, in Burgundy. It was founded in 1980, when Vincent Girardin, who came from a family of Santenay winemakers, began to produce wine independently from two hectares of vineyards inherited from his parents. Soon, the quality of his wines was recognized worldwide and allowed him to expand his business by focusing mainly on the great whites and reds of the Côte de Beaune (Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Santenay, Savigny Les Beaune, Aloxe Corton, Volnay and Pommard). In 2012 Vincent Girardin sold his business to Mr. Nié, Président de la Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois in Beaune.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
