The Sassetti family have been making wine in the charming Tuscan town of Montalcino for four generations, and Livio was actually one of the founding members of the prestigious Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino. Today the estate is run by Livio’s son, Lorenzo, and his wife Sabina who continue the family legacy by crafting handsome, powerful Brunellos that showcase the beauty of the estate’s vineyards.
