Quilceda Creek

History
The Quilceda Creek winery was founded in 1979 by Alex and Jeannette Golitzin in an almost desert-like corner of Washington State. The Golitzin family can trace their roots back to Prince Lev Sergeevich Galitzine, the acclaimed winemaker to the Russian Tzar, and Alex is actually the nephew of the legendary André Tchelistcheff who is often nicknamed the "Dean of American Winemaking."
