Clonakilla

History
Clonakilla is a family owned winery located in the Canberra district and led by Tim Kirk. Considered a true icon of the Australian wine scene, it has been a major player in the wine revolution in the cold climate regions of Australia from the very beginning.
The winery was founded in 1971 by Tim's grandfather, Dr. John Kirk who planted the Clonakilla vineyard in Murrumbateman, 40 kilometers north of Canberra.

overall i had a positive experience, they have a wide range of wines, some which are hard to find anywhere else - the main reason i still buy from them, plus the discounts are fair and often, but... their codes for the first offer only works at the first offer, which if fine, but then why would you send me the voucher in each package i order, why spam me on the email and every time i log in on the website? this is really bothering me... then their rewards points system is useless, first of all because you only get peanuts even after spending €250 on an order, but even those peanuts will expire if you won't order again soon, which is unfair, to say the least... and lastly, if you get a corked wine, a wine with any deffect or a wine that leaked (my last order contained a bottle of $100 Caymus Cabernet with a leaking cork, which made the wine tasted cooked and flat), they have no procedure put in place for you to replace or return the wine or to get a refund or replacement - none, which is a big no no no for any wine collector... so all in all i give it 3 stars for now
