Bovio

History
Best known for his famous Belvedere restaurant in Piemonte, Gianfranco Bovio’s second great passion was the estate owned by his father in La Morra. By the 1970s the estate had dwindled to a mere three hectares planted with Nebbiolo and Dolcetto. Gianfranco threw himself into the demanding project of revitalising the property, adding seven more hectares of prime vineyards on the slopes of Arborina, Gattera, and Rocchettevino.
