Well, what can I say; couple of months ago we were visiting Champagne by car and we came accross a small producer; Goutorbe, we bought a cuople of bottles just by chance, we didn’t get to try it at the time, so we brought them back to Sweden, it happened to be the most delightful bubbles ever, while searching for this brand we got bingo at 8wines, they had the brut tradition in stock and contrary to most european distributors 8wines were delivering to SWE, said and done, we placed an order for a box and took delivery in just 5 days, 3-4 days earlier than the ETA, lovely, thx! We’ll be back for more!

I like the choice of Champagne, this is our first order. The price is also nice. The delivery is fast. The only drawback was that I had to pick up the box at the UPS point because the hand signature was required. And somehow I missed the couriers door bell 🔔 ringing. So he left my box at the upstairs point.

In 1986 Michael Etzel was on vacation in Oregon when he found a 88-acre pig farm that was for sale on Ribbon Ridge in the Northern Willamette Valley. Along with his “beau-frère” or brother-in-law, the famous wine critic Robert Parker, he decided to buy the property and plant Pinot Noir here. Today it is known as one of Oregon’s leading small producers, making exemplary wines from low-yielding vines that are farmed both organically and biodynamically.
