Artadi wines
History
The intriguing story behind the famous Artadi estate in Rioja started back in 1985 when a group of 13 passionate local winemakers who owned prime vineyard sites around the town of Laguardia came together to form a co-operative. Soon the incredible potential of the project was spotted by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle who purchased the estate and worked tirelessly to turn it into one of Rioja’s leading producers.

Interesting Facts
The quality of the estate’s vineyards has helped put Artadi on the map globally as well as in its native Spain. Artadi officially left the Rioja appellation in recent years to allow more freedom in its approach to winemaking which has paid huge dividends with its single vineyard wines.
