This 100% Tempranillo, crafted from the first harvest of the season, is sure to please your palate in the warm weather. The pale pink color shimmering with salty, nude tones invites you to further inspect the clarity and brilliance this refreshing rosae has to offer.
Upon inspection, your olfactory senses may alert you to the delicious tropical fruits, like mango and passionfruit, wafting up from the glass, intermingling with bright raspberry and hint of dairy.
Your first sip will have your taste buds singing praises to this delicate, soft and creamy wine. Ripe raspberry, juicy currant surround nuances of violet and tropical fruits. A pleasing structure and moderate acidity give way to a lingering finish of strawberries and cream.
This rosae is 13% ABV and best when served chilled around 6°C. Pair with soft, mild cheeses, seafood in light sauce, rice dishes, white or blue fish dishes, tempura, sushi, or roasted white meat. It is best drunk young, so drink up.
The Tempranillo grapes used to make this wine are harvested from vines over 25 years old and come from only one estate, Finca La Planta. The grapes were hand-harvested, at the coolest part of the day, on September 28th, table selected, and then sent in small batches for a soft pressing to produce the optimal color and flavor characteristics for a Ribera del Duero rosae. Once pressed, the juice is cold-fermented for no more than 30 days, cold-decanted and then bottled to preserve acidity and vividness of color.
